The founder and CEO of “Fastmigration” Mr. Linas Kliukas attended the industry professionals’ event “Caribbean Citizenship Summit” which took place on November 3rd -10th. The event presented detailed information about the Citizenship by investment program (CIP) in the Caribbean region, gathered professionals from all over the globe and gave a chance to evaluate all the risks and opportunities of a real estate projects and investments.
This year the Summit took place in the 3 Caribbean islands – Grenada, Dominica, Antigua and Barbuda. It attracted immigration agents, lawyers, wealth managers and family office advisors from the UK, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine, UAE and Russia. During the trip professionals were discussing details of different economic citizenship programs, met government officials and developers and had a chance to see the real estate objects approved for Citizenship-by-Investment programs.
The attendees saw the Levera Beach Resort – future tourism development mover in Grenada, also met representatives of a Mount Cinnamon Resort. In Dominica, which is among the most competitive CIP jurisdictions, the group met with the development teams of 5-star Cabrits Resort Kempinski, Silver Beach Resort & SPA and Jungle Bay Resort. Antigua with a recently built new international airport could be considered as the most developed island among the others visited. Many successful projects made it one of the leading citizenship-by-investment-in-real-estate destinations. Participants of the Summit visited Nonsuch Bay Resort and Tamarind Hills, Nelson’s Retreat boutique hotel in English Harbour and Best Western Premier Hotel on the west side.
“I learned a lot about Caribbean Citizenship by investment programs, saw the approved real investment projects, had a chance to share the experience with professionals from different countries and to evaluate opportunities and risks in the Caribbean region. The CIP programs – great opportunity to become a citizen entitled for a visa-free travel to more than 135 countries. There are many good investment possibilities, which guarantees the immediate ROI of 4% or more, for example, a hotel construction in Jolly Harbour. This kind of investment is a stable source of income”, – said Linas Kliukas.
